TAMS Website Privacy Policy

Scope

This notice applies to the public TAMS website. Product deployments, support engagements, and contracted services may have separate terms and data-handling requirements agreed with the customer.

Information processed

Information you choose to send

Contact, quote, demo, evaluation, certification, and resource-request forms ask for business identity and project information. Depending on the request, this can include your name, work email, company, area of interest, equipment or controller details, use case, deployment context, timeline, and an optional message.

Do not submit passwords, payment-card data, health information, export-controlled information, trade secrets, or other sensitive material through a website form.

Information processed when you use the site

The hosting platform and application can process standard request and security data such as IP address, requested path, date and time, browser or user-agent information, and diagnostic identifiers. The application uses an essential antiforgery cookie to protect form submissions. Google reCAPTCHA is loaded when a protected form is submitted and is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

The optional TAM browser game uses local browser save storage so Continue can restore your progress. Save data remains on your device, is not sent to TAMS or Google Analytics, and remains until the game replaces it or you clear this site’s browser data.

Optional Google Analytics

When you select “Accept analytics,” TAMS uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website use and successful inquiry paths. The Google tag is not loaded and no Analytics request is sent before you accept. You may decline without losing access to the website.

Analytics can process the page path and title, a sanitized referrer, approved campaign parameters, event time, approved CTA identifiers, successful form type and TAMS-owned lead context, a pseudonymous client identifier, approximate geography, and general browser or device information. TAMS does not send form contents, names, email addresses, company names, messages, equipment details, site-search terms, reCAPTCHA tokens, User-ID, customer lists, Google Signals data, or advertising-personalization data to Analytics.

For the optional TAM game, consented Analytics can record discovery of the easter egg, selection of Play, the first input category (keyboard, touch, pointer, or gamepad), and whether two cumulative minutes of visible, focused play are reached. TAMS does not collect a player name, the control sequence, save contents, progress, world completion, score, or arbitrary game data.

The first-party tams_analytics_consent cookie stores only the consent version and your choice for up to one year. If you accept, Google Analytics may set first-party _ga and _ga_* cookies for up to one year without extending their lifetime on each visit. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain disabled.

Google states that GA4 uses IP addresses at collection time to derive approximate location and discards them before the address is logged in an Analytics data center. See Google’s GA4 data-collection description.

How information is used

TAMS uses submitted information to route and respond to the request, discuss products or services, prepare requested quote or evaluation details, deliver a requested resource, maintain form and website security, troubleshoot failures, and keep appropriate business records.

Submitting a form does not authorize TAMS to publish your name, company, logo, statement, or project as customer proof.

Service providers and disclosure

TAMS uses service providers that support website hosting, abuse prevention, and internal delivery of form requests. Information is disclosed to those providers only as needed for those functions and may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the website, TAMS, or others.

Google provides optional website analytics after consent. Google processes Analytics data under its applicable terms and privacy documentation. TAMS does not link this property to Google Ads or enable remarketing, User-ID, Google Signals, or user-provided data collection.

The website does not collect payment-card information and does not provide an online checkout.

Retention

TAMS retains website submissions and related technical records only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, the resulting business relationship, security needs, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can use the contact details below to ask about a specific submission.

Google Analytics user-level and event-level data is configured for 14-month retention without resetting the period on new activity. This control does not necessarily remove aggregate totals used in standard Analytics reports. Browser cookies expire sooner as described above.

Your choices

You may contact TAMS to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted through this website. TAMS will evaluate the request against identity-verification, security, contractual, and legal recordkeeping requirements. You can avoid the website form and contact TAMS directly by phone or email.

You may decline optional Analytics on the first visit or change your choice later. Revoking consent prevents future Analytics events and removes accessible first-party GA cookies from this site; it does not retract data that was already sent while consent was active.

Security

Public deployments use HTTPS. Website forms use antiforgery validation, server-owned request context, input length limits, and reCAPTCHA verification. These safeguards reduce common risks, but no website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

This business-to-business website is not directed to children, and its forms are intended for business contacts.

Changes to this notice

TAMS may update this notice when the website or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
